Partnerships and Initiatives
Future Ready Columbus serves to organize, align, and mobilize a variety of stakeholders and providers to create collective impact that benefits children, families, and ultimately, entire communities. The organization is working to ensure that 100% of Franklin County children will demonstrate readiness for kindergarten by 2030.
Future Ready was founded with engagement from the Partnership, and Partnership members serve on its board and advisory council, and several more give funding and other resources to the effort.
In 2020, Future Ready Columbus recently released a special report: Reopening Child Care Centers in Franklin County After COVID-19, detailing important findings and recommendations about policy and resource needs before reopening child care centers in Franklin County. The report is based on a survey we issued from April 17 through April 22 to more than 1,500 Franklin County child care providers. The full report can be found here.
Ohio Excels provides an informed business perspective and prioritizes policy to improve and transform Ohio’s education system. The Partnership serves on its board of directors with business leaders from across the state working to ensure that education in Ohio will meet the demands of an evolving economy.
